Established in 1978, The Assembly Bar & Café has been a staple in Hoffman Estates and West Dundee. Back in the early days, the restaurant was surrounded by corn fields, but through the years, it has remained steadfast in its dedication to serving fresh, quality food with exceptional friendly service. Many of the original recipes are still in use to this day, including their renowned award-winning burgers made from fresh ground beef. Their signature Bionic Burger, weighing in at 10 ounces, remains a crowd favorite. Since its inception, over 2,500,000 of these hand-packed burgers have been savored. The kitchen crew that crafted these delectable burgers back in 1978 continues to do so with care and expertise.

The Assembly is also celebrated for its outstanding BBQ Ribs, which clinched 1st Place at the Arlington Park Ribfest. Sourced from the same purveyor since day one, these ribs are accompanied by the unchanged homemade BBQ sauce recipe that guests have come to adore. Still family-owned today, The Assembly underwent a change of ownership in 1995 when the Taylor Family took over, pledging to uphold the restaurant's storied legacy.
